This is a few
Test video's I have taken as I'm building my .45 caliber Suppressor.
My hope is that I will be able to use on multiple guns up to .45-70 and 45 Colt.

As evidenced by the flame out the front - didn't work so well.

Keep in mind most of the instances over power the camera's
sound recording system and so it Squelches the sound
the only case where it doesn't is when it's quiet like the 38 special or 22 LR subsonic

I'll have to go back and read the rules but I'm pretty sure it's a violation to post the above with out photos of the internals and specs...;)

Hey Artful:

The background terrain looks alot like a place where I used to do alot of javelina hunting back before human encroachment stated taking its toll on the place. The place I'm referring to is called "SugarLoaf Mountain." The volcanic rubble on the side of the hill behind the shooters in the video resembles the area I'm talking about.

If that is the same place; I harvested my last archery deer from off the top of that same SugarLoaf mountain many years ago. I remember because I got pinned down by gun fire as I was trying to descend that mountain with my deer carcass.

Some target shooters were shooting from basically the same position shown in the video. They were using that volcanic rubble as their backstop so their bullets would ricochet up and over the lip of that mountain whizzing right past my head. Even yelling at the top of my lungs couldn't get their attention until I crawled to the edge of the lava rubble so they could see me.

Nice work on the Form-1 suppressor. Eventually I hope to tackle such a project myself.

Yes, Sugarloaf has a big problem with "Human Encroachment" - went out last week with a crew that had a grant for picking up Garbage - lots of stuff left from "Campers?" - ATVer's and what one of the crew called "Geeks with Glocks" (read shot up electronics). What ever happened to leave no trace.

The crew started working up a sandy wash and my 2 wheel drive won't go - so had to pass on helping
but we loaded two dumpsters and didn't make a dent at lower sycamore - they will be working on Sugarloaf in the fall.

That's a shame. It used to be near pristine deer and javelina habitat back when I started archery hunting. There used to be large herds of javelina there. Coues deer inhabit the top of SugarLoaf mountain and on the back side I've seen some very large-antlered mule deer.

Now days I hunt coyotes and fox across the highway in the Four-Peaks- wilderness area. I know there's bobcats there too from the scat and other sign I've come across but I have yet to see one with my own eyes. I've been hunting those areas since I was a teenager. Those were my happy hunting grounds until they got over run by the ATV and off-roader crowd.

Oddly enough; on the SugarLoaf mountain side of the highway I've seen mostly whitetails and on the Four-Peaks side all I've ever seen are mule deer.

On your Form-1 suppressor; what type of baffles did you use? When the time comes to do one of my own, I always thought I'd just copy the internals of my store-bought can; with a couple of small modifications. I'm still holding out hope that our new administration will relax the laws governing the making and buying of suppressor which would switch such a project from the back-burner to the front-burner pretty quickly.
