I have a Smith & Wesson model 32-i and am looking to get a mold for it. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience to share? Thanks in advance.

The Accurate 36-151H matches the profile of old .38 Colt New Police rounds and factory loads are approximated with 2.5 grains of Bullseye. I use this load in my S&W Model 32-1 as well as Colt Police Positive in .38 Colt New Police and my Webley & Scott Mark IV. The cylinder throats on my S&W slug .362" and its barrel groove diameter is .359". Bullets from the Accurate mold drop .362" from wheelweights with 2% tin added in the form of bar solder. I load bullets as-cast and unsized, lubricating them with Lee Liquid Alox. Accuracy is superior to factory ammo.

I had (maybe have, though I can't seem to find the darned thing) a lyman 358-212 that cast at .361 and worked well in my 38/200 S&W. However, I really like the look of that Accurate Mold that Outpost has shown and if I were looking today, I think I'd order one of those to cast .363 with wheel weights and I'd live happily ever after.

Thank you Larry! FYI another small FRB with more 36-151H bullets and 36-155D-146HP going out to you today if you want to continue testing some other powders.

FYI for the group, Accurate 36-155D is another bullet giving great success in the .38 S&W:

My two "go-to" moulds for the .38 Smith and Wesson are:
Ideal 360-271 .38 S&W (.38-200).365 181gr. single cavity mould -- #429 top punch
and
Lyman 358-311 .38 S&W .358” RN 2-cavity mould -- #311 top punch
I have but one S&W firearm, a U S Government Smith & Wesson Model 11 WWII-vintage revolver. Both of these boolits shoot better than I do ;) -- and either might function well for you. I generally size both to 0.358".
BEST!

Dependent on throat diameter, my top 2 choices would be the Lyman 358311, and the Lymand 358477. It's not unusual to find copies of either that cast at .360" plus, and both are really accurate designs.
