Couple ?s for BFR owners

What barrel length would you have if the barrel extended to the end of the ejector rod housing? Barrel like on the Colt 4 3/4" single actions. Also any of you that have one in 475 Linebaugh what as cast diameter would you request if ordering a mold from Tom at Accurate Molds?

I have many. 45-70 is 10" and the .475 and .500 JRH are both 7-1/2"
.475 boolit needs to be .476".
I would own no shorter then 6"

My .475 has a 7 1/2" barrel and is a deer gun. My 48-395BG drops from the mold at .4785 and get sized to .4770. The throats are a couple ten thousands under .477. I strongly recommend you read up on his tolerances. FOR THE MOST PART, if you order a .477 they'll drop at .479 (+.002).

I have measured many BFR .475's. Throats have been .4765" and groove .475". Can't get any better. .476" boolit is perfect. It does no good to shoot over throat size.
