This set has been up for a while and it's nice, but sure seems like a lot to me?

I'll say one thing for the seller, she's persistent.

As popular as the Hollywood stuff is around this forum, I figured there would have been a discussion about this collection.
I was looking at Hollywood stuff for sale, I'm amazed at the prices people ask in general for this equipment.

Would not mind having a Hollywood and an old C&H three holer but I cant see giving some of the prices they are asking for them . Got one of the C&H bullet presses and the loading press would be nice to go with it .

GONRA hasa 1958 era Hollywood Senior that I use all the time.
(Also have the larger one with the reinforcing rod in front.)
But RELOADERS are not gonna pay COLLECTOR prices for reloading equipment!

Get the largest Lee press (or something similar, but LARGE)
and set it up for Range Pickup Brass "Case Prep", particularly necked rifle calibers.
(Smaller, light weight press may not produce uniform headspace resizes.)

From there, most anything will do in the right hands.
Have Fun...

It's been discussed before. The seller would do better to part the collection up. Throwing down that much money is just foolish. I know people love the presses but they are out dated. They're only worth that much money to a collector. To someone who just wants to make ammo there are better more affordable choices.

Hollywood Model III, $500 would be more like he could expect on eBay.

It the seller would part out her collection on Bay, and spread it out over several months to prevent market saturation she could expect to gross about the same amount of money.

I guess it`s all in a persons perception of what something is worth, or what some well meaning idiot tells you what it`s worth!Robert
