Anyone here familiar with this company. I ran across the website of Aegis Tactical of Lakewood Ranch Florida and they have a 1911 pistol they call the Commander Officers carry model. It has the Commander length slide and Officers model frame. Available in 9mm and 45ACP. I haven't seen these guns offered anywhere else.

As I recall, Bob Serva bought Dan Wesson in hopes of bringing back the revolvers. I got a stainless .22 from Dan Wesson at that time. He got in on the 1911 rising tide and developed several nice models. CZ wanted to get into the 1911 market and bought him out. Afterwards, he started fusion firearms. I will say my 722 revolver is a great piece of machinery. Fit and finish are excellent.

I own a Fusion 45 long slide . Ordered one to my specs talked to the owner direct. It is a very nice gun. Bob Serva is a very nice gentleman to deal with.

I have a Fusion bobtail commander that was built to my specs and I've carried it quite a bit and competed some. I've been happy with it.
