Hello fellow lead heads. I am looking for a place (site) to learn about BACO moulds. I know nothing about them. I was wondering if you all could share with me your experiences and/or where I can learn more about them. I am hoping to find an aprox. 300-310 gr postel type shape that drops .379-.380. I have the Lyman 335gr and am looking for just a little lighter. Thanks Angus

Well, me neither. I keep seeing them come up in discusions on the Shiloh site. I have a feeling they may just make paper patch moulds. Maybe I am chasing something that is like snipe hunting or cow tipping.

Isn't BACO a common abbreviation for Buffalo Arms CO?

Dutch is right on, it's Buffalo Arms Co. in Idaho. Put Buffalo ARms into your search engine and their website will come right up. They sell all the production moulds but evidently have someone set up to make custom moulds as they're ordered through Buffalo Arms.

BACO is the acronym for Buffalo Arms Co. They make a really nice set of moulds of custom quality for about $110 as well as carry just about anything you could possibly need for BPCR. Extremely nice people to deal with and as helpful as they come. Just Google Buffalo Arms, go to their site, look down the menu on the left side to find what you are looking for.

Buffalo Arms has a machinist in-house making lathe bored molds. The guys name is Jim. Alot of them are in stock ready to ship. Some similar designs as Paul Jones but at a much lower cost.
