Thank heaven for Flat Rate

I just got back from the post office where I was shipping some Medium Flat Rate Boxes of brass. I told the lady at the desk that I was glad there was flat rate shipping. When she looked at the first one on the scale (which was the closest one that I was shipping) she said this one would have cost you $36. I said wait till the furthest one shows up and when it did she looked at me and said $88 and change for that one. $13.60 seems so nice.

I once shipped a small flat-rate full of lead bullets to the left coast & the P.O. lady said "you saved $44.00 by usin' the flat-rate box".
