I found these boolits while at my local scrap yard. They are .50 cal. .750 long and weigh in at 360 grains. I believe it's hand cast because of the sprue mark on the bottom of it . 187046

Looks like it might be a great plains for a muzzle loader.

You might be right, I don't think the great plains was available in a mold. I know that the T/C was.

not a great plains they have a flat nose and weigh 385 with pure lead

533476 – One of the oldest Minie designs in the Lyman line, it is also the only one currently available for .54 caliber. Although there is no .54 musket presently on the market, the #533476 does a good job when used in a Douglas 1-66” twist roundball barrel. Experiment with your rifle and adjust the powder charge until the best combination is found.

Thanks guys.
It does look a lot like the maxi-hunter on the T/C website. Not so much as the drawing of the maxi-hunter in my BD owners manual.
