Will the weaver sidemount scope base fit on the Win M95 with the factory drilled holes?

I'm not sure, but it'd be surprising if they didn't. Also, the editor of Rifle and Handloader mags had an article about a newly mfg. sight that replicated an old one that was specifically designed for the '95. Can't recall the name or mfg., but it had an extended leg that stuck out the front, and was secured by a screw in the end of it. It allegedly was the toughest sight ever made for that gun, IIRC??? Wish I could help more. If that's your gun in the pic, you have one BEAUTIFUL rifle there!

Thanks, I'll dig through the mags and see if I can find it.
Yes she's mine. I wanted a 405 to shoot and at the time I found this one for only a couple hundred more than a plain one, so I jumped on it.

The rifle calls out for a "climin Lyman" as made today by Peabody, a scope on that makes me unwell.

In a word, no - not w/o drilling & tapping.

This is the proper #3 side mount base - as you can readily see, the 4 mounting holes do not match the pattern of holes in your receiver for the receiver sight & the lever pin stop screw.
