View Full Version : Unread topics function?

In the top right corner under my name there has always been a place to click to see "Unread Topics"

It's not there. Restarted computer. Logged out and back in. Still gone. Everything else works fine.

This happened to anyone else? Makes looking through posts a real chore without that function.

Thanks.

Same here. Multiple devices too. I'll assume it's a bug of some kind.

it's gone from mine too but, no big deal as I've never used it, just noticed it was gone.

Same here, rebooted, tried my phone, still missing. So I checked here and someone else has already started a thread.

No1 has been changing things to get rid of the Myfilehost thing people are getting when doing a google search. Might be one of the things he removed

you can still use the today function and it will show the new posts.

Yes, gone from mine also. I found the new posts drop down underneath quicklinks at the top of the page with forum/community/etc. But it is a bit inconvenient compared to just clicking on the new posts tab. That's the only thing I check when I visit the sight. Hope it gets put back.

Admittedly this isn't as quick but...click on advanced search, then under additional options select your last visit and newer, then date and descending order.

that's something like 2300 per dollar now day's.
and he only want's pre 1947 peso's.

it's just the rumor I heard though.

You could just go to the header and click on "Quick Links" and then in the drop down click on "New Posts".

True but it less convenient than it was. It's a step backwards IMHO.

well I sure feel odd now. I've never once used it in the 8 or 9 years I've been a member here.

Betcha the issues are with the Boss "Gunload Master" disabling a plugin trying to resolve the myfilestore redirect issue!
Best regards,
Butch

Still there in the Tapatalk app. Hopefully it doesn't disappear from that too, use it all the time.

Well, when it returns one can always hope we can opt out of that feature. I personally find it irksome. YMMV

Its been disabled for a short time. Was causing some forum inturruptions. It will be back.

Apparently the malware page MyFilestore.com hooked into the API and this was the way they pirated search results and redirected searches to their page. I am sure a workaround can be implemented in due time.

Maybe a New Posts button can be added to the menubar beside the Quick Links, Today buttons..
