Hi,
I bought an estate and have about 100 pounds of assorted rifle and pistol bullets. They are sorted and appear to be in good usable shape. A lot of them have gas checks. What would be a ballpark value per pound to sale them for?
Thanks
Doug

Are you planning on selling them as bullets or scrap?
I pay $0.70 a lb for scrap lead. No more than $20 a bucket for unsorted wheel weights. A five gallon bucket is around 120-150 lbs.
Bullets are going for $5-$8 a lb.

Have them separated by caliber and they appear to be in good usable shape. I was thinking about $2.00 a pound. Does this sound fair?
Thanks for the input,
Doug
In addition to sorting by caliber, you should sort by weight, bullet style, and diameter. Also possibly by alloy or hardness if known.

Have them sorted as follows. Don't know the hardness. Don't have any way to check.
I hope this is enough info.
Thanks
Doug

Finally got to go through the rifle bullets. Have what is listed above. What is fair price for them?
Thanks
Doug

Separate them into two lots. Your 88gr and 110gr are typically 32-20 or 30 carbine or pistol use boolits. The rest are 30-30 and larger .30 caliber rifle boolits.
