Just want to express a public Thank You to Leo Bumphrey of Boomer's Moulds. He made me two really nice custom spec iron moulds for a great price, at what I think is lightning speed. One is a .450" paper patch 350-grain, plain base, .270" meplat hunting bullet for my .450 BPE. The other is a riff on that design resulting from some experiments with Erik Olsen at www.hollowpointmold.com. It too is a .450" bullet, but 341-grain (40:1 alloy) heel-heavy wide meplat that shot half-inch groups from the same .450 BPE rifle. Although I own and use a lot of bullet moulds, this was my first purely custom mould made to my own specs, and I am really happy with them, and I am appreciative for Leo's craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
