Had a day off from work so I decided to slug my pistol barrels. After making some home made soft jaws. I slugged my ruger sr9c. The grooves miked out at exactly .355 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170122/e819796bdf33d22e7cb3daf9c2cf8b26.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170122/959107844b102c9e27556210b6cab740.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170122/dcffb8fc4c55b484ede63f710e2708ec.jpg
For the slug I poured a 1/4 egg sinker from my do-it mold with pure soft lead. For the rod I used a short section of wooden dowel.
I don't have a blade mic but, using calipers the lands are .345ish. I have a lee .356 in either 120-124 grain tc tl mold that I bought on here. I'm going to cast with wheel waits and see what how the come out before buying a sizer. Hopefully with wheel weights it will come out to .356-.357.
Thanks David b for the soft lead
