wondering what the rate of twist in rugers 77 hawkeye, 35 whelen rifles are,the only catalogue I have is a 2014 and they don't even list that caliber. and will they stabilize the noe 310gr thumper? or would 275 or 250 be best? thanks! Travis

Mine is 1 in 12. It's an all weather stainless with a black stock. I have heard some were made in both rates ( 1 in 12 and 1 in 16 )

ok, 1-12 sounds like a good rate, I would think that it would stabilize the 310gr, not that a 310gr boolit is really necessary for anything but moose or elk
