Looking for bases or base for one of the old Flaigs Siamese Mauser conversion they turned into 30-40 Krag. Any one know what 1 piece or 2 piece bases work?

Weaver 2 piece #45 and #46 should work but might not depending on rear bridge contour. It's a start. I think that's what I used on the one I built in 1977. Best, Thomas. I'm jealous.

I have read in on few sites that mounts for the FN action might also work ?

AFAIK, the regular FN Mauser scope base will not fit military Mauser 98's that still retain the stripper clip guide ears atop the receiver bridge.

All 98 Mauser front bases will fit the receiver ring, but you will most likely need the shorter rear base meant for military/unconverted Large Ring Mauser 98's.

You can use the Redfield one piece military 98 Mauser base. The base is a little long so you have to flat top the stripper clip hump about .100 to clear the rear windage screws in the base.
I put one on a Siamese Mauser about 1972 and it worked perfect. I did move the base forward to insure the base shoulder stopped against the rifles receiver ring to absorb recoil.
