We were sorting wheel weights and found these, they are so shiny we thought they might be zinc but they are not. THey are all casting and mixing extremely well. These appear to have a lacquer coating, they tested out at BHN 12.5. That's a little harder than I am accustomed to, and I think they will make a fine bullet but I just wondered if anyone had seen any like that.

yup, I see those, but since I throw all mine together into my outdoor half propane tank smelter, I don't notice the individual traits of them. it could be that they might have a little more tin or antimony than normal, I doubt antimony though. looks like you got lucky, enjoy them!

nice and clean too.
those are the ones we used to get back in the 80's-90's.
you should be able to find them in the sticky here.

seen those too. the ones that throw me are the plastic ones, look just like the ones with a coating on them but they are solid plastic.
