View Full Version : Colt Trooper vs. Python cylinder length

Curious if anyone knows about the difference in the length of these two revolver cylinders. Friend is wanting longer Keith type cast to shoot, possibly in a Trooper Mark 3, if its cylinder is longer than the Python. All I can go by are photos, which looked like Trooper had a fairly short cylinder as well.

Just for reference, from my memory........All my Colt 357 cylinders were longer than any of the Smiff &W Model 27 and 28 357's I've ever loaded for. That is the primary reason I no longer own a Smiff &W 357 revolver......and a couple other valid for me reasons!!
