Has anyone had any luck cleaning up a case lube pad? Mine is getting pretty dirty. Checking to see if the are cleanable or just replace it.

I just use dawn and hot water to clean it

Back when I used to use a pad, when one got to dirty I would go down to the neighborhood office supply and get another cheap uninked stamp pad. Don't know if the even supply them any more. Ink pads are probably a thing of the past but it might not hurt to check.

I just use the blade of my pocket knife on the RCBS pad I have- blade perpendicular to the pad, scrape off the big pieces.

Dirty? Does it still work? Mine is over 40 years old, pretty dark gray, and still does a perfect job.
As long as it works 100%, I'm not touching it.

Throw the pad away and use your fingers.

I started with a pad and switched to putting a dab of lube or now lanolin on the fingers of my off hand. As I pick up a case I spin it a bit to lube it. Every fourth or fifth, I rub a finger over the case mouth.
I don't even know if I own a lube pad anymore.

Leads me to say I use OLD stamp pads, I found the newer kind that are a foam rubber, dissolve or break up when used with some lubes. I got several from my office supply source which were the cloth type and still use them.
