I have an RCBS 44-250 mould and the handle attachment pins are allen head rather than screw head. I haven't used it in a couple years and forgot one pin is tight in the threads. Tryed to remove the pins with the mould cold. One pin came out, one didn't. Now the allen head socket is hogged out. I soaked it in Kroil, heated the mould and shimmed the allen wrench with tin foil to no avail.
An easy out just mills the metal off.

Any of you machinists have any ideas?

Left hand drill and go slow.........or send it to RCBS- Great Customer Service.

I got it ! Squirted Kroil on it for two days. Found an Allen wrench that was over size. Wrapped the wrench with about three layers of tin foil. Tapped it in the socket with a small hammer. The wrench held and the pin popped loose. Whewww !

get some anti-sieze use it sparingly but work it into the threads well keeps them from freezing up
