Extended safety for a S&W M41?!

Hello guys,
I´ve "shot" a 1982 M41 and love it.

Now I want to use it for holster competitions and have to holster it cocked and locked.

When pulling it, the small tiny safety is a PITA to hit, also the grip covers it a bit.

So, does anyone know if there is an extended safety for the M41?

Interested, too. My 41 is customized, as were the old Bob Loveless Field Guns. A larger safety would be great.

In other news, I found at last that my 4 1/2" barrel pistol fits perfectly in a holster made for the Smith M39 9mm.

No one makes one that I'm aware of and I've looked. I had two of these guns at one time for competition. You could have a good gunsmith make one for it if you know one.

But there´s less surface to get a hold on, what?
