Has anyone worked with the NOE WFN 200 grain boolit in a Rock Island 10mm. I am wanting to run this WFN in the full size, government 5" model.

My concern is I don't know if the pistol will hiccup on the wide nose so I wanted to reach out to see if others have walked this path before me.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Not running it in a 10mm but a 40, not had any issues, it runs thru my pistol and 2 carbines.

I am using this on my CZ tactical sport .40 and I have had no problems with feeding on 1k+ rounds.

No a FNS40. I built a 1911 in 40, just never could get it to run. Every possible variation of 1911 jamming it did it. GI frame cant run 10mm, 45 wont work in a 40 slide, so its running 7.62x25 now. Ill get a barrel in 9mm or 38 super eventually.

My keltech Sub2000 runs that 200gr fine so does my mechtech.

Well the RIA 10 mm FS 5 " model has been flawless so far. This is a newer firearm with a factory installed 25 pound mainspring and 20 pound recoil spring. I added a flat bottom firing pin stop. Currently running the Lee 401-175-TC and it works without a hiccup out to the upper ends of near 1300 fps.

Still looking for others personal experience with a RIA 1911 10mm and WFN designed bullets. I like the NOE 200 grain WFN however wouldn't want to get a mold without knowing if it would work in this firearm.

I have the NOE HP for my 40 with no trouble. Good friend of mine has not had any trouble with any of his 10 mm without or with HP pins.

Well after starting the thread over on the NOE forum and having zip interest I went ahead and just had Tom at Accurate Molds cut me a design to my description. I didn't see the point in waiting forever on a mold. None the less, a wide flat nose with just a touch of draft on the meplat to help with cycling.

It took less than a week this time around from order to my door step. Great customer service and I just hand cycled some into my Rock Island with zero issues. I plan on loading some up in the next week or so and hit the range to see about function. This one is designed to seat at 1.250 to 1.240 COAL. I cast and Hi-Tek coated around 200 today so it won't be long now.

Any Cal.

Probably better off doing it like you did. Interested in how the HiTek works out for you in the 10. I am wanting to try something along those lines.

I had just ordered a .402 from Mountain Molds, and received it in the same time frame. Really like the custom mold makers if you know what you want.

I do have the NOE 403 GREEN WF RG 2. Works great in both XDM. When I do my part right and get the HP pins hot, it drops the boolits very easy. Was wworth the wait for me.
