Anybody know if NOE makes a groove-less bullet mold specifically designed for powder coating? I looked on their site and couldn't find any. It would seem to be an easy mold to make. I do know that a company called Hardinge (sp) made some in 358 that made beautiful round nose bullets, but I can't find any listing for that company.

NOE has a few. Look under HTC - hi tec coating, on the left hand side menu.

Thanks mm, I didn't see that option, I'll look closer.

Darn it, no 358, but I'll call an see how much a special order would be.

The 356-135 FN works in 38 Special. With the powder coat thickness it comes out right around where it needs to be. I have shot a number of these and the work fine. A real light crimp is needed since there is no crimp groove.

Honestly the groove-less concept is interesting but I plan on sticking to the tried and true designs going forward.

You could call the guy's at NOE and see if they would make you one. They have always returned my calls. Don't expect a call until after they get there. NOE stands I think for Night Owl Enterprises. Good people to work with.
