Does an application of Kroil in the mold cavities work for brass molds? Been using it in my Saeco and RCBS iron molds for years.....works great.

Using the Kroil on the interior of the mold, facilitates release. Works great, got the idea from this forum. Original post was in 2009, now a sticky in this section (molds).

you want the brown patina in the cavity's.
once you get that layer of oxidization in there you'll forget about putting anything else in the cavity's.
