Cast loads for the 7mm-08

I am thinking of buying a rifle in this caliber. My 3 Lyman reloading manuals (which are not recent) give no loads using Unique or Red Dot powder. Can anyone find any suggested cast loads in the more current editions for me, please? I'll probably use the Lee 130 SP-GC mold with it.

I believed you would be far better served with the 7mm soupcan from MidSouth sports if you want a lee mold.

I have this one in a single cavity and it shoots well in every rifle I've shot it in. I just used 10 grains of Unique which seems almost a universal loading for cast bullets in full sized rifle cases.

I have a soup can mold too, just haven't cast with it yet.

I used the RCBS 145gr design in that cartridge and it shot very well.

The lightest boolits Lyman 4th shows in 7-08 is 135 Lyman .They don't show using Unique with this bullet . They show Unique used with RCBS 145-Sil
,starting at 11.5gr to 15.0 gr. Max. The Lyman 160 Sil.with Unique starting at 12.0 gr to 15.5 Max. I've shot the 130 Lee boolit in my 7-08 over 12.0 gr.of Unique with good results . I've used Unique, RL 7 ,SR 4759 .
