We had a a while back a member of two on here that would scan your alloy sample for a modest fee or in exchange for a lb or two of alloy . Are either still doing that service ? Or anyone else analyzing alloy here? There's no scrap yards in my area that does this .

RU shooter, seek out your local industrial X-ray company. They have positive material identification equipment (it's portable) and usually if no written report is need, then no charge! Just a suggestion. Good luck.

One person that I have used is "BNE" and you may consider sending him a PM to see if he is still offering this service.

"BNE" is a good guy to deal with. Fast turnaround.

yeah, I have 3 alloys that I am going to mix together, then send a test sample to him 1. lymans #2, 2 I think is 2-2-96, 3 COWW, and also a small round about 10lbs that has a good ring to it, so probably high tin content. it is going to be quite a job, total I have a little more than 500lbs, luckinly about 100lbs is 20:1 and I am not messing with it, it is my slow, heavy, boolit mix. hits hard, and expands great, not too much, with no weight loss!
