Would like to try this one out as I have had great success with the Lee .45 Cal 230 RN-TL. I have read that some have criticized it as it casts out bullets that are .456"+. Has anyone bought one recently and can you tell me the diameter of the bullets cast with it are, please? With the current mold I don't have to size my bullets. I shoot them in a Ruger Blackhawk .45 Caliber ACP. Very accurate and never had any issues with it, loading them unsized.

I have 3 of .452 tl 200 gr swc lee molds . this is the main bullet I use for 45 colt loads and it shoots well . ive tried others multiple times but always go back to this mold. it also shoots well out of a 45 acp . but I did have issues with this bullet loaded in 45 acp cases to shoot from a 45 acp cylinder out of a Blackhawk the bullet for me seems to drop at roughly .451/452 at the base and roughly .454 at the top of lube bands closest to bullet nose but some are consistent .452 and some are consistent .454. running them unsized is fine in 45 colt or 45 acp to be fired from a 45 acp pistol . but unsized I had allot of trouble getting to fit all the way in a 45 acp cylinder . they stick out far enough that the cylinder wouldn't turn . some would chamber with a little extra effort but allot wouldn't . they may have worked if they were seated a little deeper ,I'm not sure I never tried .it would probably be best to size this bullet if your gonna use in a 45 acp revolver . I had no troubles with the lee .452 230 round nose mold in 45 acp revolver .

Thank you. I should nave no issue if I seat deeper, as you suggest. If I may ask...why do you have three bullet molds for the .45 200 SWC-TL? I'll be shooting the cast bullets in a Ruger .45 Blackhawk .45 ACP Cylinder.

the reason I have 3 of the same mold is because allot of times I start out with a 2 cav mold then eventually move up to a 6 cav which is what I did . then after a while I was having trouble with the 6 cav dropping under sized bullets . so I ordered a replacement . in the mean time I cleaned the hell out of my old 6 cav mold then lee mented the cavities with comet cleanser and was able to bring it back but the new mold already arrived .

Has anyone tried the Lee .45 Caliber 200 SWC-TL in the Ruger SR45...does it feed well in that pistol?
