This is my first time down the nose sizing path, so a question before I really go the wrong way. Loading for a 6.5 creedmoor and sized to 0.267". Measuring for OAL found that the boolit hangs on the ogive at 0.266" as close as I can measure. From what I have read I should size the nose to 0.263-0.264". The question is that NOE's largest nose bushing is 0.257" for 264's, after that it jumps to 0.268". Is 0.257" too small or should I call tomorrow to see if he can run one at 0.263"?

Put me down for a .264".

You should revisit threads concerning nose sizing.
The nominal groove diameter of a 6.5MM is .264... It sounds like your .267" measurement would probably be your "throat"... The stop where your bullet "hangs" sounds like you are reaching the origin of your rifling at groove diameter.
"Nose sizing" refers generally to sizing the "nose" of a "bore-riding" design to fit the bore (distance between the rifling... minor barrel diameter) to better support and steer the cast... For an example, if your rifling lands are .004" tall (2x.004"=.008") and your groove diameter is .264", your bore is .256"... You would size with those measurements as a starting point... Driving bands to fit throat (<.267"), and nose to fit bore (.256"). Sizing noses slightly above bore diameter for a press fit can sometimes be done depending on your firearm and application.

In my case, I'm not using a boolit with a bore riding nose. I'm trying to re-size the noses to seat boolits further out. While my bore slugs .256", the leade angle into the rifling is long. Sizing to .264" would allow me to seat the boolit out further to better align the nose into the lands, as it enters the bore.

Are there any bore rider 6.5 molds, other than the Lyman 266644?

NOE's 266-125 is a bore- rider... Mountain Moulds might supply 6.5, but looking at Accurate it appears 7MM is as small as they go.

Old Buffalo's chart shows several Ideal/Lyman 6.5 bore-riders.
