Boolite casters need your analysis and opinion.
Tested on PT111 G2 and SW Shield 9MM
Cast and PCed to .358
Ranging from 3.5, 3.7 and 3.9 gr of HP 38
Also tested with Lee FCD at 3.5, 3.7 and 3.9gr of HP 38
Distance 21ft/7rds
COAL 1.03-1.26
MIXED BRASS
7 rounds per target area.

FYI
WITHOUT FCD there were 4 Fail to Feed/Failed to Eject
SOME of 3.9gr showed cratered primer and very very small sign of primer swaging

Please look and what your opinion of best load.
I leaning on 3.7 with FCD for both pistols.

3.9 looked to shoot the best and is really not a hot load. Judging primer signs of pressure in a semi auto gun is pretty tough. What your primer looks like has more to do with headspace then pressure in a pistol. You could take those same pistol primers and run then at 45k of pressure in a 223 case and probably wouldn't see any flattening. Judging pressures even in a revolver by looking at primers can get you into trouble. By the time you have REAL flattening your probably at double the pressure you should be. Just stick to loads in the manuals. there all conservative and probably wont get you into any trouble or hurt your gun.

124 (L) LC RN 3.4 958 3.7 1,035 34,722 1.050 from RAMSHOT ZIP which is next to HP38/W231 but had to seat it little deeper being a TC design and fatter.

Decided on 3.8 gr of HP-38 and here is the results of final test
Used Mixed and Matching brass with FCD and without. out of 65 rounds NO failures. To me without FCD or with FCD performed about same. What do you guys think?
