Sizing die, you drive the lubed case in with a mallet
and then use a screwdriver to get the sized case out
or you use a decapping punch and drive it out with a
mallet while also decapping the case.

Well,
I have sized one case and I prefer a Lyman 310 tool!

I used an Ahrbor press I made with the wilson straight line dies, also the lee load alls. works much better than the mallet. Quieter and easier on the brass. I have seen presses made for this from old industrial ahrbor presses ( very little modification needed), bottle cappers ( may need some mods), old drill presses, and like mine built from scratch. Mine is rack and pinon, but sinclairs and several others sell simple lever units, and these are a popular desighn for home builts also.

I believe what you have is actually the body part of a B&M bullet seater. The earlier B&M presses only neck sized and de- and reprimed. The seater was a body, like the one you show, with a base and a screw-adjustable stem threaded into a turned piece of metal the diameter of the seater body.

You slid the loaded shell, with the bullet balanced on top, into the seater body, put the assembly on the base, and inserted the seater stem and pressed it home by hand. The loaded cartridge was shaken out or pried out of the seater with a screwdriver.

The later model B&M press had a smaller diameter seater body that screwed into the head of the unit, which allowed the shell holder to push the cartridge in and out.

I'd show pictures but this Move i made and the perpetual reorganizing and straightening-out has hidden my B&M stuff somewhere. I am certain I put it in a good, logical, accessible place, but I can't find it now. :-?
