BTW, many people think it is the 2nd amendment with GIVES us the right to our personal, and loved ones self defense. Not true, as it is a God given right as a human being to be able to defend one's self. The 2nd is just there to make sure the government can't take it away. Which they seem to be doing a good job of erroding.
