So what do you guys think about a few finds:

Really nice used Browning m-65 in .218 Bee for 1k
OR
New looking (looks like the factory lube on the metal) Marlin 1894CL 32-20 JM for 700

I have an ar I was thinking of selling and I'm thinking I'd trade for a levergun and then sell the levergun in place of the ar. I thought that these would bring in more money, but was surprised to see them on the cheaper side.

My 1894 CL only needed a trigger job to be a 1/2" 50 yard gun. I am very pleased with mine.

Marlin 1894 CL. They're a hoot and a great cast bullet rifle.

If your eyes age and you can't see the front sight well, the Marlin is easy to scope.

Of course I wouldn't fault you for getting the Browning either.

I'd buy the marlin if I didn't already have a 32-20 Browning. The 32-20 is an underrated cartridge in my opinion. It is a great small game and short-range varmint cartridge.

Both. Seriously get them both. They are both very cool rifles that aren't made anymore and getting harder to find.

I agree with historic firearms. Get both. They'll be gone soon.

I agree with the "get both" philosophy!

I vote for both .But if you can get only one I would get the Marlin because its a .32-20 nice little cast boolit cartridge.

Already have some .218 brass? If not, get the 32-20.

Easy choice, I don't load or cast for the 218 but enjoy doing so with the 32-20.

32-20 brass is available from several sources. Can't say that about 218 bee.

I have a Marlin 1894, 32/20 original in VG shape, it shoots very well, but only with cast. My buddy has the new Marlin 94 in 32/20, it shoots both cast and jacket. He put a 2x7 scope on
it and is his main squirrel rifle. At 40yds he takes off their head.184377

Well. I have a soft spot for the 32-20 Marlin. I have 2 of them and would like to find a few more. Trying to get matching sets of Browning 1886s and Marlin
32-20 to pass along to the kids.

Oh yeah. $700 is a darn good deal IMHO

My choice would be the 32-20 a few reason why. The 32-20 ammo or brass is common. If you have a 32-20 pistol its a match to carry both together. Resale value is better with the 32-20.
