Lyman 57 SME . Will it fit 93 or 95 ?

Does anyone know if this sight is only for a 98 , or can I use it on my 93 Spanish & 95 Chilean ? I've never used aperture sights and am clueless.

Yes, it should. I put one on a sporterized Mauser Model 91 once and it fit just fine. While the ring diameters can vary on the different Mauser models, I believe that the bridge dimensions on them are all pretty much the same.

I put one on a 96 one time and it worked perfectly.

The back end of the Mauser receivers are all about the same for 91, 93, 94, 95, 96 and 98s.

FWIW, the "SME" sight designation means:

Springfield (M1903, etc)

Mauser (all)

Enfield (US M1917 w/rear sight ear mods & Remington M-30)".

Williams sells a similar sight called the JEMS for Japanese Enfield Mauser and Springfield.
