Catherine Ann Greer, known to friends and loved ones as Katie Greer, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Canterbury Place Hospice in Lawrenceville, PA. At 62 years of age, Katie was in the prime of good health when she suffered a traumatic brain injury and subsequently experienced a massive stroke from which she could not recover.

UP date not good repair of her skull operation didn't go very well.

She was doing okay and strong enough that they decided to repair her skull. They had remove a section during the original operation and felt it was time to finish the repairs but it didn't go very well. She had a massive stoke and they are not expecting her to make it more then a week or two.

So Just pray for her family and friends !!

Some what of a miracle she has come out of the coma.

As I have some time I'm asking for you all to keep her (Katie) in your prayers. Been a Good friend over the years.

She was getting hay and fell 12' in her barn from the loft. Where she was found by, will call her a friend, hours later. Split her head, damage to left side of brain, she was life flighted to a mayor Pitts. hospital. This happened on the 16 th of this month.


Out look was ?? but in the last day or so she awoke and is talking some and asking, Where and Why type of things. So that said time will tell.

Update on Katie

She is still not talking allot. Couple of words here and there, and not really with it is a good way to say it. Has made a few sentences. In the last day she is using both hands. They are trying to help her to her feet to see if she is trying to walk. She is moving both legs but just too unsteady.

Well Just got off the Phone with Barb. Katie's friend. Says that things are slowly showing improvement. She now is in Mercy Hospital in there special brain trauma rehab , was in UPMC Presby . She says thanks for all prayers.

Amen. Brain injuries are puzzling things, and I know just enough about them to know they can go all sorts of ways. Thanks to God for her improvement, and we pray she'll keep improving, and get back to her old self in the end. Keep praying. This isn't one of those "one and done" situations.

Let me add in my condolences as well. Times like this are a reminder that none of us is promised tomorrow. Maybe God planned it all that way, so we'd realize that what we do today is so crucial. God be with the family and friends, and give them peace and comfort.
