22 tmc

Has anyone had any experience with the 22 tmc on AR500 Steel? At 15 yds., will the round cause any damage to the steel? Pitting or piercing. I need to know if this round should be banned at our steel plate range for destructive reasons. It would be allowed on other areas but not the steel plate range.
