40 lbs of rifle lead scrap. Pre-flattened!! Haha.
Should be really easy to melt down.

This is half of a 2 gallon bucket, this stuff is super dense.

Guy gave it to me, I will bring him some cookies or donuts tomorrow for sure.

Looks like that bucket will be good for at least 30 pounds of clean range scrap.
Good score !

The stuff wouldn't melt. The little bit on the jackets would, but the powder wouldnt do a darn thing. Just put it back in the bucket.

Is there a trick to getting pulverized indoor rifle scrap to melt?

Made some connections and scored some free wheel weights! Man said there wasn't enough to fool with, but I could help myself! So, 1 hour later, I got 40 lbs of coww, 8 lbs of soww, and a whole bunch of zinc and steel ww to sell to scrap yard! Plus, all I can haul off in the future. AND, he supplied the bucket! Not going to be every month, but I'll take what I can get! Maybe a weed burner to help with your "dust" problem? Play it across the top of your melt, maybe? Just a suggestion. Good luck and Merry Christmas
