I cast up a bunch of these and the mold dropped them very nicely... They also shot great!

Here is the 100 yard target I shot from a benched K-31 using the issue iron sights. The load data was ACWW, Lars 2500 lube, gas check, 28.0gr IMR-4895, WLR primer, seated as long as possible while chambering easily. The 9 shot group (the first shot was a sighter and is not pictured) measures 3.0in, with 8 in 2.0in. I really don't expect any better than this with the K-31 iron sights.

The boolit nose lightly engraves on the lands when loaded but the case can be ejected without pulling the boolit out of the case.

I'm not sure how this boolit is different than the current group buy Mike in Co is running, but I think they are pretty close.

Has anyone else shot this boolit yet?

John, I don't have that CB mold, but your results are pretty typical of what the "as issued" K-31's will do. Btw, Pierre Ste. Marie has an article on accurizing the K-31 on the Swiss Rifles forum. It's a very simple and effective fix that takes only a few minutes to do.

What's modified about the boolit?

Nose and body length + Meplat are the same as the RCBS 308-165-SIL. Everything else is modified for a much better throat fit.
