Team.
Eventually I will need a neck turner for making my .303 Pygmy cases. What are you guys using? Any recommendations?
I will buy a hand held model.

do a search for don neilson and "the pumpkin"

the pilot and expander are not 30 cal...so may have to pay extra....

I've also heard good things about 'The Pumpkin,' but I use the K&M tool. It has perhaps the finest adjustments available on a neck turner. It's available form a couple of sources online:

I use the Sinclair model, it works well but making adjustments is a little difficult. I like the looks of that K&M tool.

K&M - be sure to get the neck ironing thing. It makes things a little easier.

This tool works very well for me.

I've been very well served with a Foster hand held turner (HOT 100) for some time now. The cutter is carbide and angled to meet the shoulder, the adjustment is calibrated in easy to read thousanths and it cuts smoothly.

Not real fond of its plastic case holder device but the thing works and hasn't broken! Actually, I've begun to use a Lee case trimmer case holder/lock stud and just chuck that device in a battery operated drill to turn all my necks by power now!

Here's another vote for the K&M, however, it's the only turner I've ever used.
