HI-Wll TANG SIGHT

Attached are pictures of my old Winchester Hi-Wall with a tang sight I just bought on our S&S section. I have been putting off buying one of the Shaver tang sights when I saw this one and bought it. I was not sure the holes would line up but as you can see it fits perfectly.

Should make a decent hunting or casual shooting tang sight. Big improvement over the usual barrel sight.

Looks like a marbles sight.I've had them on a couple of low walls they work great especially for hunting they are not bad for targets either. A lot of the people I shoot with use them out to 200 meters at the ram bash.

For long range BP shooting they do not have enough travel for 300yds. and out, I'm not sure about windage adj. Most long range shooting goes to 550 yds. for sillywet and beyond 1000 for Quigley type shoots, Having said that, they are good for normal hunting work.
