I am looking for loading data for a 250 savage with cast bullets. I would like to use unique, green dot, and solo 1000 powders since I am sitting on about 250 pounds of green dot and solo 1000 20 pounds of unique.
anyone got any loading data other than the RCBS cast book?

Get an older Lyman book. Lots of 250 Savage loads from back when it was popular.

I use 8.5gr of Unique with the 89gr Lyman 257312 slug. Works pretty good in my Savage 99. I recently got the 257388 80gr mould & have loaded it up with the same charge but haven't had a chance to fire em yet. If you have kids 1 warning, don't let them shoot the 250.... you'll never get it back lol.

Once you go thru all that powder you're sitting on, you may wanna consider trying 5744 or 4759. 13.0 to 15.0g with a 100g (nominal) worked for me.

I am having great luck with 257312 cast of acww and sized to .258 with 50/50 alox. I know nothing bout the Solo 1000 and haven't tested Green Dot as of yet. Other people report great success Unique but my efforts have resulted in mediocre accuracy at best. Right now the star for accuracy is 8.8 grains of 7625 which has made a number of groups in the half inch range at fifty yards. 12.0 grains of 4759 have been almost as good. Much more testing is required but at the present time it appears that 20.0 grains of Varget may be the load to beat. I realize that this is of little help with the powders that you requested info about but it does provide you another avenue of exploration if you fail to achieve the desired results with what you have now. Lumpies Data is good.
you can swap some other powders in for the ones he shows or use something in-between or close to the two powders he shows.
Jak's data is also useable, and 4895 can be used for the varget data only at a 1 gr lower charge for the same velocity.

Wow, I think I would be learning to use Green Dot in everything. Green Dot is a real sleeper that can deliver great performance in some applications. With a magnum primer it makes very nice .38 Special +P loads for a strong revolver. I can easily push the Lee 358-140-SWC to 1000 fps out of my Ruger Service Six with no leading or pressure signs. I'm planning to see how it does with boolits in my Marlin 1894 .357.
