Want to start casting 40 caliber boolits. Seems every "normal" source is out of stock. The mold I want is Lee # 90690 6 cavity 401-175 TC. These will be powder coated so my question is would the Lee mold # 90433 TL401-175SWC work as well when powder coated ?

Thanks in advance, Derrell

I have powder coated a TL Lee bullet for 38 Special. The powder coat worked well on this bullet.
The powder coat was applied with a Harbor Freight spray gun. The bullet was a wad cutter and seated with most of the bullet in the brass case. Have shot hundreds of these bullets in several guns with out any problems or lead in the barrel.

Both the tumble lube and normal lube 6-cavity molds are currently available over at Midway... The tumble lube is a SWC and the normal lube is a TC...

Considering how many of us found it in stock so quickly, I have to wonder where he was searching for it... Wal-mart? Kroger's? Best-Buy?

John Boy. I looked at the two normal sources I normally do business with. FS and Titan and both were out of stock. Trying to combine with other components to save shipping costs.
