Berthier Me 1907-15 en bloc clip?

I have aquired a Berthier 1907-15 8mm Lebel that has been upgraded to a 5 round magazine.

Can anyone tell me where to find en bloc clips? Can you use the 3 round clips with the 5 round magazine? Do you have to have the clip to use the rifle magazine?

I have one that is still the three round mag and I use it without the clips just throw a cartridge into the magazine well and close the bolt actually shoots boolits pretty well.

Try Doc AV in Australia, I purchased some Berthier 3 round en-bloc chargers from him and they are of excellent quality.
He actually manufactures them.

I have a 5-shot 07/15 and a M1916 Carbine. A few years ago I picked up 10, 5-shot Mannlicher clips for $15 out of an ad in Shotgun News. I got brass from Graf & Son and a set of RCBS dies. The RCBS dies were about $140 and I then saw Lee has 8mm Lebel dies for about $50.

The Mannlicher clip system has "died" because it is not a good system in my opinion. Yes, you need the clip to magazine feed your 07/15. I hope this helps.

I use my 07/15 like a single shot. However i can place one round on the lifter and skip the bolt over the fist rounds rim then slide one in the chamber. I understand that the 5 shot clips can be used in the 3 shot rifles if you only put 3 in.

Yeh....I got a couple 3 shot Berthier clips of a guy on the Gunboards French weapons forum. Wasn't DocAV...but I'll try remember who. That was quite a few years ago....

I just saw some of the 3 shot clips at one vendor or the other....may have been Sarco??
