What would be a good mold for a Rossi 44mag? I want a RNFP 240- 270 gr. it needs to work in a Ruger SBH also. I have Lyman 429421 & 429244 but they won't feed in the Rossi.

Or design your own if you can't find something you like. Tom will cut whatever you want and spec it to your alloy.
Top quality molds at a fair price made right the first time with fast shipping.

Thanks for the reply .I need to check their site. The nose on my Lyman molds is too large in diameter , holds the stop over letting the next round go under the lifter. Not good

I really like my MIHEC 434-640 in my Marlin. it is quite accurate and feeds well which SWC's did not before lots of work to the carrier. IIRC it is 270 gr. solid and lighter depending on the HP pin used.

I'll bet those Accurate Moulds recommended above are also top notch.

NOE's copy of Ranch Dog's 270gr mold runs smoothly thru my Marlin .44Mag and shoots great in my Ruger and S&W revolvers. Oddly enough the Marlin is ho-hum with the flat point but shoots it's best groups with the same bullet cast as a 250gr hollowpoint.

http://www.rossi-rifleman.com/index.php Ranch Dog has a forum on Rossi Rifles and has a lot of good information on it. Noe offers his mold designs. Ranch Dog has spent a lot of time developing loads for the Rossi and Noe has a scope mount for them. I have 3 molds that Ranch dog designed that were group buys. They work as advertised.

The Noe 432-265. My boolits weigh 272 with lube and check. They drop at .432-433 and I size to .431 for my Henry.
I never had a Rossi but I did shoot these thru two Super Blackhawk's and they shot good.

Yup! The Ranchdog 265 gr. is another good choice.

Check out accurate molds 43265m it runs like butter thru my Winchester and several friends marlins and is lights out it a Ruger super Blackhawk. Have him cut it to .431-432 and shoot as cast

Either one of those gets my vote, I have both myself. If you want to shave some weight to save lead both are available with hollowpoint pins.

Lyman 429-667 is another choice that might be made.
