I'm casting straight WW using my Lyman 358477 mold which casts a 150g SWC. I'd like to use Titegroup as my powder but I'm not having any luck in locating data for this bullet. Can any of you help? It'll be used for hunting paper only.

Thanks....

I checked here: http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

They show a 158 gr. LSWC starting load of 4.5 gr. of Titegroup.

I would use w231, maybe 6 grains for a paper punching load.

Yep. 4 to 5 grains depending on your lube and hardness. Just start at 4 and come up watching for either the velocity jump on the chronograph if you have one.

Or shoot 12 shots and patch the bore as you come up .2 grain at a time. You will have a dry feeling bore up until you seal properly, then you will get a luby feeling bore. The first charge level that you have this occur will probably be your best, long shot string, summer load.
