No many newspaper adds.

I was hopping to see a few Big Box store front stocking dealers run weekly Sunday newspaper adds on a variety of B/P rifles this Fall. Didn't happen. Very limited B/P sales. Mostly CVA Optima & Wolf adds. Last year this time of year there were a slue of B/P firearms on sale & available.
What happened or took place that I missed? :veryconfu

They're finding that most of the old, dead tree publications are a poor investment. Look on line. Last time I looked at Old South Firearms they had a number of great deals. Cabela's often has great prices on Pietta, and if you look close enough you might catch one of their 24 or 48 hour super deals. Buffalo Arms has consistently good prices on Uberti. There are several others.

As far as I'm concerned, the Sunday papers are a non factor. If they weren't mostly owned and edited by radical leftist agitators they might still be worth something.
