Here is a my 1816 collection :D Two cutdown caplock conversions Finished one is a H&P conversion, Unfinished is a Leman conversion. Both done in Philly in 1860 for C/W usage. They were cut down to 30" shotgun length after the war by Bannermans? Anyway I had the Barrel "streched" by a good barrelmaker Bobby Hoyt in Pa. Spliced forearm under the middle band. Matches pretty good. Full length epoxy bedded. Old wood was striped with "Easy off" oven cleaner. Finnish is Boiled Linseed and Turps.
Repo stock will be a 1816 Flint.Mix of repo and orgional parts for that one.
Target was one of the first I ever shot with that S/B I did it 25 yd offhand with a 14 lb trigger pull. .685 ball, 80 gr FF,lube sabot no patch. BTW that was on the sighter target for a no score.
