I have access to several hundred pounds of pure lead. What is the going rate for this fluxed and in poured into bars? Thanks

I see a lot of it going for a buck a pound. Some add the shipping and some split the shipping. There's usually a discount for face-to-face bulk buy also.

If you cast for bullets, some will swap with people to get harder lead where people that shoot muzzle loader want the soft stuff.

the soft stuff and lino-type usually sell better if you don't pre-melt it.
if it's in sheets cut them to fit the box.
if it's in plumbers ingots pack them in the box as is.

you'll save yourself the time and effort, and we know what we are getting.

If muzzleloaders are willing to swap COWW for pure lead then count me in. I have about two hundred pounds cleaned and cast into ingots. My FIL is a plumber and I get old boots from him all the time. What's the best way to get in touch with the muzzleloaders?

Sheet lead is good stuff. Cut it into squares, pack a box, weigh it and set your price. :cool:
