Hey all, I'm looking for 10mm load data using a 200 gr or 220 gr Hardcast bullets. Please include bullet manufacturer and if bullet is lubed and needs a gas check or not. Thanks in advance

I cast NOE 403-200-FN for my Glock 20. Have never purchased any commercial bullets. These are plain based. Did a search on this site and found that members had good luck with AA#7 and AA#9. I found good groups at approximately 9 grains and 12 grains respectively. True Blue was also a close second.

800X is the powder for top end loads.

I don't know about bullet manufacturers. I cast all mine.

5.5 gr. of W231/HP38 and 200-220 gr. RNFP is a good practice load.

Yep, 7.3 grains is when I start averaging 1k FPS out of a G20 w/ the NOE 403-200. Use the published load range and find the sweet spot for your pistol.

After researching data online, I ended up buying an 8lb jug of Longshot. I haven't ran any loads over the chrono, but it is supposed to give pretty good velocities. My loads are toward the high end of the book data and shoot pretty well.

I used up my 800x pretty quick, but I had to weigh charges individually. The Longshot meters well through the Hornady LNL. I didn't go with AA9 or AA7, but they would've been my 2nd choices if Longshot was not available.

Any Cal.

Longshot is the ticket. #9 is supposedly OK, but charge weights are higher.

I just worked up loads .5g at a time in a stock Glock barrel until I saw the little imprint of the unsupported portion of the chamber, then used that in an aftermarket barrel. There was a range of a couple grains where the imprint worsened, at first it was just a smile shaped line, then a light bulge in the smile, then the bulge started balloning out.

I *think* I was at 7.8g Longshot under a 228g bullet, and that was OK in the stock barrel. Later the measure was throwing 8g, whch wasn't really OK, so backed it down.

At those pressures, the boolits tend to lead for me. Good news is, they lead immediately but it never worsens. Does prevent great accuracy though. There is a noticeable difference in group size between clean barrel and group #5.

Any Cal.

Oh, and Speer manual #12 has 200g jacketed reloading data for 10mm that you can get an idea of charge weights for various powders, but I don't think Longshot is in there.

800X has worked well for me with top end stuff. The downside of it is that it meters like gravel.
