I was taking with a customer this past week and noticed a holstered handgun in the pocket of the door on his truck. It was really in good shape and he says it is older than he is. He is in early 70's. Interesting piece.

32 S&W. Mine was my grandmother's pistol. I load it with a sized buckshot and 1.1gr BE. Lots of fun.

under-powered by today's standards, but easy to conceal and certainly effective enough. Better the gun you have than the magnum you left at home. Think of it as a .32 ACP performance wise.

The post war break tops could take hotter ammo. The old BP S&W I have, 32ACP is a step up in power. I pulled the bullets from a box of factory 32 S&W as its to much for my old gun. But it would be much better than a pocket knife or sharp stick if the need arose. That S&W is pretty small and light.
