Hi...I am using White Label 2500 in a RCBS lubsizer, 198gr NOE .308 Spitzer with 2 lube grooves. As it is now, I do not have a 'lube star' on the muzzle and the bore looks as if I run out of lube about a foot down. It is a 20" barrel, and I feel that there should be more lube involved.
In your experience, is the 2500 too stiff and should I be looking as a softer lube. Thanks.

Howdy...If you were closer I would give you some Hi-Tek to try. I'm sure someone will chime in but after the celebration has dwindled down some.

just fix the 2500.
you don't need a lube star.

2500 is not too stiff. I use it in a lot of my rifle stuff. I also use CR in my higher velocity loads. What caliber are you shooting it with and what are you sizing it to? Velocity? Just curious, as Iv'e never had a problem with 2500.
I like to add a coat or two of BLL to my pre lubed rifle boolits. You might give this a try with your 2500. I have been using BAC.

Thanks for the replies, I did use some LLA on 10 rounds and will see if there is any difference this weekend. I may order some BAC also as I heard that it is good for pistol loads.
