Father, Your will has been done and shortly Mr. Trump will become President Trump. Please walk with him and help him to heal the divide that is wide and put AMERICA first. Please help him restore good values that include helping the less fortunate. Father, protect Mr. Trump and all Americans from evil and violence and restore the law for all people and not just a select few that have anointed themselves as above the law. Lastly, Father please change the attitude of our national, state, county, and city elected officials to one of working for their constituents and to put away their hidden personal agendas. AMEN

The real work has just begun the church must wake up and be a force for the Lord. He gave us the ministry of reconciliation read Corinthians and go to work being ambassadors for the Lord.

Amen to all the above! I am SO relieved! It's just now finally sinking in just how blessed we've been by Trump's campaign and win! But now the hard work begins, politically and spiritually. I pray we'll be up to it all!

Uniting the nation again will likely be the MOST thorny of many thorny issues Trump will deal with. And NOTHING can or will re-unite our peoples like a change of attitude and beliefs. Even if not all can be converted to Christianity, I think the goals and principles of Christianity are so attractive and rational and reasonable, that even non-believers should be persuadable that they be followed, even if they can't or won't accept salvation. This is nothing new to humanity at all! Much of living with others involves a righteous degree of acceptance of them as being worthy of consideration in matters relating to their governance. Nobody should be left out of having a say, but we all must give a little so that we CAN become "one people" again. We've never agreed 100% on all matters, but on matters of principle, our nation once agreed something like 75-90% depending on where you were and what issue was at stake. In religion, we must be unyielding, but in politics and governance, we NEED to be flexible enough to accept others' views, and merely operate on principles that have been time proven and tested, and shown to be effective. Willfulness sure hasn't been working for us, has it?
